Mark Sharp is thankful to be a part of Mission 10:10. After spending time with the staff and children, he sees how God is moving through this ministry. In the time he has been on the board, he has seen the children grow in their relationships with each other and with the Lord and has seen the in-country staff continually seeking the betterment of the children in their care. Mark developed a heart for this important ministry after adopting 2 children from Ethiopia in 2012 and 2016.

He and his wife fell in love with the country and people on their very first visit. Feeling called to serve street children in this beautiful country, they were introduced to Fekadu. Fekadu had and still has a huge heart for impoverished children and single mothers. Mark and his family have served alongside him in multiple ways since 2014. He and his wife, Christy live in Liberty, Missouri. They have 5 children- 3 are married, 1 in college, 1 in high school and 6 beautiful grandchildren! Mark’s life verse is Psalm 144:13.
