Mark Sharp

Mark Sharp feels grateful to be part of Mission 10:10. After spending time with the staff and children, he observes how God is working through this ministry. During his years on the board, he has seen the children grow in their relationships with each other and with the Lord, and he has seen the in-country staff continually striving to improve the lives of the children in their care. Mark’s passion for this important ministry was sparked by adopting two children from Ethiopia in 2012 and 2016. He and his wife fell in love with the country and its people on their very first visit. Feeling called to serve street children in this beautiful country, they were introduced to Fekadu. Fekadu has always had, and still has, a deep compassion for impoverished children and single mothers. Since 2014, Mark and his family have worked alongside him in many ways. He and his wife, Christy, live in Liberty, Missouri. They have five children—three are married, one is in college, one is in high school—and they are proud grandparents to six wonderful grandchildren.
